Meet Milan Shah, M.D. — Focusing on Non-surgical Aesthetic Treatments
Dr. Milan Shah, brother to Dr. Darshan Shah, is a highly-esteemed cosmetic surgeon at Beautologie Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center with extensive training in not only facial, body, and breast surgery, but also anti-aging and longevity medicine. His personable and approachable manner has made him one of the most trusted and respected doctors in the area. Dr. Milan Shah strongly believes that the secret to successful treatment is to treat every patient on both a medical level and a personal level. He believes that patients and their physicians must work together in constant dialogue and with a shared level of understanding to achieve the most exceptional results possible.
Education and Training
Dr. Milan Shah began training in biomedical science at age 16 through the University of California, Riverside. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree and was among very few participants in the pre-medical general surgery program at Riverside General Hospital. He received his medical degree at the age of 24.
Dr. Milan Shah completed an internship in preliminary general surgery at Kern Medical Center through the University of California, San Diego and went on to receive additional training with the Kern Medical Center through the University of California, Los Angeles. Throughout his training and education, Dr. Milan Shah always received the highest evaluations from his preceptors.
Dr. Milan Shah stays current on the latest advances in cosmetic surgery through educating medical students and junior residents. He has also completed various research projects, the most recent being a cardiology project with the Kern Medical Center in association with the Department of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Anti-Aging and Longevity Medicine
Recently, Dr. Milan Shah has expanded the focus of his practice to include anti-aging and longevity medicine. He has been trained by some of the most esteemed scholars in the anti-aging field. He has received certification in laser resurfacing, photofacials, and laser hair removal by the Laser Institute of Beverly Hills, as well as in the administration of BOTOX® injections. Dr. Milan Shah is also certified in anti-aging medicine by Cenegenics, a distinguished, internationally recognized anti-aging medicine institute. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M).
