I heard about Beautologie through one of my friends. She had a breast augmentation and I liked her results a lot and I thought I should make an appointment for myself! I didn’t know that Beautologie did the things that they did when I came in for a breast augmentation and then I started talking to the nurses and the staff that are always so helpful. I started looking at the brochures for other treatments and products available. Beautologie offers so many things from surgical to non-surgical, I was really surprised!

I had a mommy make over at Beautologie by Dr. Darshan Shah. After having three children and losing the baby weight I was unhappy with how my body looked. No matter how much I worked out I could not get my tummy to be flat. I had also lost a lot of volume in my breasts. I was very self conscious in form fitted clothes, bathing suits, etc. I was feeling very discouraged that my body did not look like I wanted it to especially since I was putting so much effort into eating right and exercising.

Before I came to Beautologie I just didn't like my lower abdomen, it had stretch marks and loose skin and no matter what I did, no matter how much exercising I did, nothing helped. It was always there. I learned about Beautologie through a newspaper ad. I was going through the paper and saw it and decided I'd check it out.

I first came to Beautologie when I was diagnosed with breast cancer 5 years ago and Dr. Darshan Shah helped me with my breast reconstruction. As far as Beautologie goes, they are like my family. Dr. Shah did my reconstruction and then I spent 5 years on chemo medicine and when I finally got off I had felt and looked like I aged 30 years so I came here to see Dr. Lehocky who did my blepharoplasty (eye lift) and after my eyes were done, I felt like my life was given back to me. I looked in the mirror and I thought oh my gosh I'm back to where I was before my cancer!

I was expecting surgery to be a painful and miserable experience, but I found that Dr. Shah and his staff did everything humanly possible to make my surgery and post-op as pleasant as possible. My experience was nothing at all like I expected. I would do it again without hesitation if I needed to!

Robin was great! Her communication and follow up made it easy to set an appointment and know exactly what to expect out of the procedure. I'd highly recommend Dr.Shah. I've been to two other med spas in bakersfield, and Beautologie has been my favorite. He had great bedside manners, was present and didn't make me feel rushed when I asked my questions, and was knowledgeable on all procedures.

Beautologie took excellent care of me. I am an older patient and had an adominoplasty, which was a little on the extreme side because of multiple cesareans and massive weight loss. They were always there to answer questions or to see me for extra appointments. Dr. Thorburn answered my call at 5 AM and once on the weekend when I was worried. Both times, there was really nothing wrong, but they took it seriously that I was worried and checked to make sure everything was OK. The results are way better than I expected. I healed beautifully with absolutely no problems and very minor pain. I am very grateful for their meticulous care and professionalism.

I went into the office on Ming for the first time today. I have only lived in Bakersfield for 2 years, I moved here from LA. I have been getting lip filler for over 5 years and I'm picky about who I go to because I swell very fast and I bruise badly. So I need an RN or Doctor who is fast and knows their craft. I got Dysport wrinkle relaxer to my forehead with Katey! I had really deep lines that needed intervention. I talked over my goals with Katey to address these lines. I still wanted expression in my face and really love my natural looking results. My makeup applies better and I feel better in photos as well, with smoother skin. The office was clean and welcoming and the front desk Selena helped me check out and schedule a follow up appointment. Everyone is so kind and professional!

Dr. Shah,

About two years ago, my best friend and I went out to a nightclub in town. I was having a good time until a complete stranger came up to me and cupped my breasts and said How cute! This guy has baby boobs! and the crowd around me laughed. I quickly left the club with tears in my eyes. I hated the way I looked and from that night on I have purchased every shirt in the biggest size I can find. Now, days after my operation I look into the mirror and I see and feel a difference in my body. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am so happy and so glad that I decided to have this done. Great customer service! I called and was assisted by Jera, who has exceptional people skills. She was able to schedule me for an appointment tomorrow afternoon. The booking process was very easy, and Jera's energy over the phone was exceptional. I called and asked to be seen as soon as possible, and she made it happen. I'm from the Bakersfield area, and it's not common for med spas to have good customer service. However, you can tell when you speak to someone over the phone who loves their job.
